Are you scared yet?

Because I think you should be. Very, very scared:

In all honesty, the skeleton on the roof is really freaking me out.
In other spooky news, we’re giving away not one, but two ghostly 2009 Deb books over at Geek Girl. Shadowed Summer by Saundra Mitchell and Give Up The Ghost by Megan Crewe are up for grabs.

Geek Girlish news

So today I discovered that VOYA (Voice of Youth Advocates) reviewed The Geek Girl’s Guide to Cheerleading. It’s a terrific review with a terrific pull quote:
This novel is contemporary, laugh-outloud funny, and positive.
I’m going to point you to the Barnes & Noble website for the rest, since 1) I’m not sure I have permission to [...]

Any given Sunday

Yes, it’s football season here at Chez Tahmaseb:

Andrew in his practice jersey. As you can see, one does not smile while wearing the practice jersey. Football is very serious business.

In his game jersey. With mouth guard! It’s impossible to smile with a mouth guard in, but even if it wasn’t, I’m sure he wouldn’t be. [...]
